How the concept of The Person of Tomorrow related to our life and future

            When I watch Susan Boyle singing from Youtube that she contestant on reality TV programme Britain's Got Talent on 11 April 2009, her singing "I Dreamed a Dream" from Les Misérables was amazing and pretty good. The song inspire me to think what really my dream is because nowadays many people born out with no ambition at all and even don’t know what to do when grow up. Unfortunately, I am the one who fall in this group.

            However, did I really didn’t have ambition at all or my ambition have been suppress ? Before I study Psychology in UTAR, I like to shoot video because I enjoy the process that I record things happen around and edit the video such like make our memory in the video or product. It give me the feel as a film director because I admire those director like Ang Lee and  Yasmin Ahmad that make a movie successful. I have told my mum to study become a film director but end up with no encourage by her because this industry is not well grow in Malaysia. She worried I will suffer in the future and even can’t sustain my daily life.

            After that, I suppress my big dream and end up with no ambition when tutor asking me in the first class when I attend psychology course in UTAR until one day I motivate again by the death of Malaysia film director, Yasmin Ahmad on 23 July 2009. Her biography on newspaper motivate me because she also graduate in psychology from Newcastle University in England. Her psychology background help her in describe deeply about human feeling, thinking and behavior on her movies and advertisements that always touch my heart.

            The concept of open to the experiences make me becoming more able to listen to myself, to experience what is going on within myself. I would not depend on others for guidance because I trusts my own experience, inner urges, intuitions, and inner feeling that I feel right more than the rigid rules of society that restrict me. Thus, I will still aiming to become a film director part time or full time in one day and I may become a counselor first or do it simultaneous.

Besides, I would like to live fully in the movement that each movement would be new, unique, and appreciate it fully. I would also want to create the new era or strategy that integrate, counseling, psychology in the video to help those needed. I daring to express my uniqueness and creative that I never try before and I would like to break the thought like "good writers do not write like this.”

            Lastly, I would like to say the concept of The Person of Tomorrow is giving a hope, direction, positive thinking and let people to become fully functioning person with psychological healthy to achieve their own goals and self actualization. It is similar to some religious like Christian want to learn to like the Jesus and Buddhist learn to like the Buddha that people strive to achieve higher, greater, better and finally the highest stage of the teaching from each religious. And so, I am sure I will achieve my goal and dream to become a creative counselor or motivational director that can help people who needed, who been hurt, low self esteem and unmotivated to attain inner peace, being inspire, motivated and achieve self-actualization because I am The Person of Tomorrow.
